ok the pads are old, but they weren't any better when they were new and the pads I had before weren't better either.
the cable is ok.
but I can pull the lever all the way to the bar (not easily though) without blocking the front wheel even when it's wet.
so it brakes like... ok maybe not like shit, let's say: like a bike with really bad brakes.
